Privacy

What we collect

  • No accounts and no sign-in. There is nothing to register for on Unstuck.
  • No advertising. The site runs no adverts and no advertising trackers.
  • Google Analytics counts visits. It records which pages are opened, how you arrived (from a search engine, another site or a bookmark), your type of device and browser, and a rough location worked out from your IP address. It sets cookies whose names start with _ga, so a returning browser can be told apart from a new one. The reports we see are totals and trends, and they don’t tell us who you are. Google handles this data under its own privacy policy.
  • Two clicks are counted too: pressing Copy next to the referral code, and opening the referral link to Binance. Only the click is recorded, not what is on your clipboard or anything you do on Binance.
  • Fonts and the site’s own scripts are served from this site. The one script loaded from elsewhere is Google Analytics, from googletagmanager.com.

How to stop being counted

Block cookies for this site in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Every page, the search and the tools work the same without it.

Search and tools run in your browser

The checkers on the tools page work inside your browser. What you type into them — a message from your screen, a date, a choice of documents — is not sent to us, to Google Analytics or to anyone else. The “Copy” buttons place text on your clipboard and nothing more.

The site search also runs in your browser and shows results as you type. Pressing Enter or the search button is different: your words go into the page address (/search/?q=…), and because Google Analytics records the addresses of pages you open, a search sent that way is counted with its words. Leave names, ID numbers and email addresses out of a search; they never help find a fix.

Server logs

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages keeps routine access logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time). These are used to keep the site running and to deal with abuse, and are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider. The same kind of record is kept when you open the referral link, which passes through so.sopibo.com.

Email

If you write to us through the contact page, we use your email address and message only to reply. We don’t add you to any list.

Pages link to exchange help centres and other sources. The referral link goes to so.sopibo.com first, an address this site runs, which forwards you to Binance’s sign-up page. Once you are on another site, its own privacy policy applies; this policy doesn’t cover it.
