Exchange account restrictions and holds: the notices and how they lift

When the exchange limits what an account can do: withdraw-only mode, a temporarily disabled or locked account, features switched off after a change of country, or a hold that waits on a source-of-funds review. These pages name the notice you see, quote what the exchange’s help page says about it, and list what you can send or do to have it lifted — and when the honest answer is that only support can decide.

  5. Moving Abroad With a Binance Account: Changing Your Country of Residence

You make the change yourself, with a proof of address for the new home. The review can take up to 1–2 working days, and a new country may also mean verifying your identity again.
