Submitted and still waiting? Count it against Binance's own times

Binance prints a time for four reviews: 48 hours for ID and face, 1-2 working days for proof of address, 3 to 10 business days for source of funds and 1 working day for a Forgot Account appeal.

Your own clock and time zone. Working days don't need it; without it, the 48 hours come out as a range rather than an hour count.

Binance's published times

48 hours to 10 business days, or none

  • Identity documents and face check: usually within 48 hours
  • Proof of address: up to 1-2 working days
  • Source of funds and wealth (EDD): up to 3 to 10 business days
  • ‘Forgot Account’ appeal: typically within 1 working day, weekends excluded
  • Update Identity, re-verification and the two appeals: no time published

Pick what you submitted and enter the day to see how far into that time you are.

Times from Binance's help pages, checked October 2026. Each quote names the page and its update date. The clock does not connect to Binance.

The times are as Binance’s help centre gave them in October 2026. Binance shows each page’s update date in your own time zone, so yours may read a day either side of the dates here. Before you decide anything on the strength of a number here, open the page or the app and check it still says the same. The clock uses only these times. It does not connect to Binance and can’t see your account, so it can’t tell you where your review actually is.

What “31 h of the usual 48 h” and the other results mean

Pick what you submitted, the day you submitted it, and the time if you know it. The day and time are used for the sums on your screen and nothing else; they aren’t saved or sent anywhere.

  • “31 h of the usual 48 h” is for identity documents. The bar fills as the 48 hours pass, and the line below gives the moment they end in your own time zone.
  • “Inside the usual 48 h” or “Around the end of the 48 h” appear when you’ve left the time out. The clock then gives the span in which the 48 hours end, and only says they’ve passed once that whole span is over.
  • “Working day 1 of up to 2” is for reviews Binance measures in working days; source of funds says “Business day”, as Binance’s page does. The line below names the last day in the window.
  • “Binance publishes no time for this” means exactly that. The clock still shows how long it has been, but there is no point at which the wait counts as late.
  • “Past 48 hours” or “Past 2 working days” means the published time has gone by. That says nothing about your submission itself. The identity and source of funds pages add that a review can take longer; the proof of address page has no such line.

If the screen no longer says Under Review, change the “What the screen shows now” box. A rejection or a request for more documents isn’t a waiting problem, and the clock points you to the checker that fits instead. For Withdraw Only, or a limit after you’re verified, it quotes what Binance’s pages say about it.

How the hours and working days are counted

  • Hours are counted from the moment you enter. If the clocks change for daylight saving in between, the end shows an hour earlier or later on the clock, and the result says so; it is still 48 hours.
  • Working days run Monday to Friday in your own time zone, each to midnight. Binance doesn’t say whether the day you submit counts, so the clock leaves it out, which is the longer of the two readings: a proof of address sent on a Friday evening has until the end of Tuesday. Binance doesn’t say which time zone or public holidays it uses either, so none are taken out.
  • Where Binance gives a range, the clock counts to the longer figure: 2 working days for proof of address and 10 business days for source of funds.
  • Without a time, working days come out the same, and the time since you submitted is given in whole days.
  • After 30 days the clock stops showing progress and says the wait is longer than any time Binance publishes.

Wait time passed? What to do next

First look in the inbox of your account’s email address, spam folder included, then open [Identification] in the app or on the website for a request you may have missed. If there’s nothing, contact Binance Support from inside the app or website while signed in, and say what you submitted and when. For a ‘Forgot Account’ appeal you can’t sign in, so the clock suggests your inboxes and then Binance’s Customer Service chat instead. That order is our suggestion; Binance’s pages don’t name a point at which to get in touch. They also don’t say that sending the same documents again speeds a review up, and the source of funds page says “Resubmissions or additional requests may extend the review.”

Re-verification deadlines and the two appeals

The only Binance page we found that describes re-verification deadlines is titled for EEA countries. It says the new verification can only be done “after receiving the notification email”, so the deadline in your own email is the one that counts. If you entered that date, the clock shows how many days are left or how long ago it passed.

The two appeals start in different places. A Facial Verification Appeal starts from [Appeal] on the withdraw page. Appeal KYC Rejection is in the support chat in the app or on the website: open Self-Service, then “View more”, then the KYC section. Neither page gives a review time.

More on each status is in how long Binance verification takes. If your review ended in a message rather than a result, the verification message lookup shows which step it belongs to and what Binance’s pages say about it, and the source of funds checker lists what Binance accepts if you’ve been asked for more.
